UML Legislative General Convention: Tents for additional audience
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 30 – The UML Legislative General Convention is starting from September 3 (tomorrow). UML has stated that more than 6,000 delegates will participate in the meeting. The General Convention is scheduled to be inaugurated by Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Friday (tomorrow) at 12:15 p.m.
The management committee informed at a press conference on Thursday (today) that seats for the delegates have been planned in the hall. Officials and standing committee members will be on the dais and 3,000 representatives will be in the main hall.
One thousand delegates will sit in the hall from left to right and a hall with a capacity of one thousand has been built by pitching a tent on the upper empty part of the passage of both the halls.
According to Ram Bahadur Thapa, coordinator of the management committee, the accommodation has been arranged for 7,000 people.
Breakfast and lunch have been arranged at the convention site. Meals are scheduled every day from 9 to 11 in the morning and lunch will be given in packets.
