Meetings, processions and other crowded activities are not allowed in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 30 – From today, crowds, gatherings, processions, banquets and other crowded activities will not be allowed in Kathmandu. The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, issued the notice on Thursday.
As the risk of the coronavirus epidemic remains high, the district administration office has requested to maintain the social distance of mandatory use of masks, wash hands with soap and water from time to time or use sanitiser.
Passengers not wearing masks are not allowed to travel
Passengers who do not wear masks are no longer allowed to travel in vehicles. The Kathmandu District Administration Office has implemented the new rule with effect from Thursday. The administration has also mentioned that it is not allowed to carry more passengers than the approved seat capacity in vehicles.
The driver and co-driver must wear a mask and visor and gloves, have a sanitiser on the door of the vehicle and have to sanitize the vehicle daily.
