One million prizes for making monkey repellent equipment

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 26 – The National Innovation Center will provide Rs 1 million as an incentive to those who make effective monkey repellent equipment.

Mahabir Pun, head of the Innovation Center, made the announcement. He said that Nepali farmers are looking for effective solutions as they have suffered a lot from monkeys and is going to provide Rs 1 million as a reward.

In rural areas, due to monkeys, farmers are getting problems. Earlier, the monkeys were chased away with the help of firearms, loud noises and other tools, but now the farmers have been saying that these monkeys have stopped being scared and run away.
