Polling was postponed due to an error in the ballot paper

POKHARA: SEPT. 26 – The village/town convention has started from Saturday under the 14th general convention of the Nepali Congress. In some places, the election has been held unanimously, while in others, the counting of votes is underway.

Meanwhile, tension has been created in Rainas Rural Municipality of Lamjung saying that the ballot papers were faulty. There is the only eligible for the post of chairman. The dispute has arisen due to finding faulty ballot papers during the polling.

Presidential candidate Shree Krishna Poudel said that the polling was halted as there was no room for ballot papers. Poudel and Nur Raj Kadaria are vying for chairmanship. This problem has arisen after half of the votes were cast.

Polling has been postponed after 123 votes fell out of 202 voters in the municipality on Saturday. They have burnt the ballot papers.
