Two rivals from Gandaki led by NRNA
POKHARA: SEPT. 23 – Electoral activity has increased in the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). Competitors are vying for the October election. Only two candidates from Gandaki have announced their candidacies for the new leadership.
Earlier, Kul Acharya, who was defeated for the post of chairperson, has announced his candidature from born place Parbat, while Raveena Thapa of Kaski announced her candidature through a virtual medium in Kathmandu on Thursday. They are both close to the Nepali Congress.
Thapa is currently working as a woman vice president. Change requires NRNA.
