Motorcyclist killed in bus crash

BIRATNAGAR: SEPT. 23 – One person has died in a road accident in Duhabi Municipality-2 of Sunsari district. A motorcyclist has died after being hit by a bus in Duhabi Municipality-2 on the Koshi Highway.

The deceased has been identified as Aasharam Majhi, 50, of Budhiganga-7, Morang. The bus (Me 1 Kha 2748) coming from Itahari to Biratnagar collided with a motorcycle (Ko 34 Pa 9067) while the motorcycle was crossing the road. The injured motorcyclist died at the Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, police said.

Police have taken the bus and its driver under control.
