HoR passes finance bill

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 23 – Fiscal Bill 2078 has been passed by the House of Representatives. The bill was passed by a majority in the House of Representatives on Thursday amid opposition from the main opposition CPN (UML).

Fiscal Bill 078, which was tabled on Sept. 20, was passed by a majority. The Speaker had presented the decision to make Articles 2 to 45 of the Fiscal Bill and related Schedule 1 to 4 a part of the Bill.

UML had continuing its slogan in today’s meeting as well. UML has been blocking all the meetings held from Sept. 8.
