NEPSE rises, 7.5 billion turnover

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 23 – The stock market (NEPSE) index rose by 2.70 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

By the end of trading on Thursday, the NEPSE index had risen 0.10 per cent to 2,819.65 points.

The Sensitive Index rose 1.93 points to 530.02.

Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, only two sub-indices have increased while the other 11 sub-indices have declined.

A total of 1,57,14,266 shares of 228 companies worth Rs 7 billion 726.33 million 61 thousand rupees were traded on the day.

The share price of Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution Limited has risen by 10 per cent on this day.
