KATHMANDU: SEPT. 23 – Food and nutrition are very important for a healthy nation. There have been many experiments, studies, and latest discoveries in this regard in Nepal in recent times.

Accordingly, food conferences have been organized annually in Nepal for the last 9 years under the coordination of the Nepal Food Scientists and Technical Association. Due to the health crisis, last year’s food conference was not organized, but the year 2021 is all set to welcome participants under the national health protocol to minimize infection.

This year too, everyone is cordially invited to this National Food Conference, which is being organized with the enthusiastic participation of experts, students, businessmen, researchers, and users.

The conference is being jointly organized by Nepal Food Scientists and Technology Association, Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (NEFOSTA), Central Technology Campus Dharan, Baliyo Nepal Nutrition campaign, and YPARD Asia & Pacific at Everest Hotel, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu on Oct. 1st and 2nd.

To participate in the two-day event, each participant has to pay a set fee which will be spent on the event itself. In this way, it is encouraging to bring together experts, students, and users related to food and technology in Nepal.

On top of that, in the case of students studying and researching food technology, it is very fruitful to participate in the conference and learn new things, answer questions, and get a certificate of participation.

The program will also be attended by colleges and international researchers related to food technology.

Virtual sessions have also been arranged to participate in this year’s food conference. Students and researchers from any corner of the globe can easily register and participate in this conference through technology.
