Beduram Bhusal as the General Secretary of CPN (S), who are the other office-bearers?

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 23 – CPN (Unified Socialist) General Secretary Beduram Bhusal is to be appointed. In the meeting of the secretariat held in the morning, it was agreed to make Bhusal the general secretary.

Along with Bhusal, Mukunda Neupane, Rajendra Pandey, Gangalal Tuladhar, Prakash Jwala, Bijay Poudel and others had demanded to become the general secretary.

The meeting has decided to appoint four vice-presidents including Rajendra Pandey, Pramesh Hamal, Dharmanash Shah and Jayanti Rai. Similarly, Prakash Jwala, Gangalal Tuladhar and Bijay Poudel have been selected as Deputy General Secretaries.

The meeting has decided to appoint Jagannath Khatiwada, Keshav Lal Shrestha, Nagendra Chaudhary and Ram Kumari Jhankri as secretaries.

Leaders of the CPN-S have said that they are preparing to present the decisions at the party’s central committee meeting in the afternoon.

The meeting of the Central Committee of the Unified Socialists, which has been going on since Tuesday, is still being held today. The meeting will decide on the selection of the party’s general secretary, members of the standing committee, politburo and central committee.
