Two arrested with loaded guns from Khaptad National Park

SILGADHI, DOTI: SEPT. 23 – Two persons have been arrested for being involved in poaching inside Khaptad National Park. They were arrested by a team of Nepal Army and park staff deployed for the security of the park.

Among the arrested are Dil Bahadur Jethara, 59, and Birendra Bahadur Karki, 35, of Bajhang Khaptad Chhanna Rural Municipality-1.

According to Singh Sardul Gulm Khaptad, the Nepal Army recovered a loaded gun, five rounds of ammunition, two boxes of ammunition and a box of gun caps from the detainees.

According to Gulm, they were arrested from Pauwagadhi in Khaptad National Park.
