Manchester lost to West Ham

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 23 – Manchester United have lost to West Ham in the League Cup (Carabao Cup). West Ham beat United 1-0 at the home ground at Old Trafford stadium.

Manuel Lanzini’s goal was decisive for West Ham. With the win, West Ham made it to the last 16 of the English League Cup. West Ham took revenge after failing to maintain their winning streak with a 2-1 win over West Ham in the English Premier League this week.

Lanzini’s goal in the ninth minute of the game was enough to send United out of the competition. Lanzini scored the first goal of the season. United made several attempts to get back into the goal in the second half but were unsuccessful.

United lost to the Young Boys in the Champions League the last week.
