Nepal records fresh 1,478 new cases, 6 deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 22 – Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in another 1,478 people in Nepal on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus was confirmed in 1,251 people during 2,067 PCR tests and 2,863 antigen tests in 227 people across the country.

At the same time, the number of coronavirus in Nepal has reached 877,437. Similarly, 6 more people have died due to coronavirus. So far, 11,059 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in Nepal.

Similarly, an additional 1,630 infected people have been cured whereas 755,630 infected people have been cured in Nepal so far.

Currently, there are 21,139 active infected isolation and 243 quarantined people in Nepal.
