Interaction between Nabil Bank and Women Leadership Forum

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 22 – An interaction program on Nabil Sustainable Banking and Small and Medium Credit for Women Entrepreneurs has been concluded between Nabil Bank Limited and the Women Leadership Forum of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries.

During the program, Nabil Bank informed about the steps taken for women entrepreneurship and available loans.

Chhaya Sharma, Coordinator of Women Leadership Forum, Aasha Rana Adhikari, Member of Women Leadership Forum, Anil Keshari Shah, Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank were also present on the occasion.

Inaugurating the program, Chhaya Sharma, Coordinator, Women Leadership Forum, lauded Nabil Bank’s sustainable banking and other women-centric initiatives and wished it to contribute to the social transformation of women.

She also suggested promoting financial literacy along with financial access.

Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank, Anil Keshari Shah, said that the bank aims to support sustainable development by creating entrepreneurs by bringing entrepreneurship development and financial access to the villages through sustainable banking.

Concluding the program, Aasha Rana Adhikari, a member of the Women’s Leadership Forum, who is also the moderator of Nabil Bank, said that the program would help bring Nabil sustainable banking to all women and would be further enhanced in the days to come.

Lila Prasad Ojha, Manager of Nabil Sustainable Banking and Nabil Farmer Loan and Nabil Entrepreneurial Loan under Nabil Bank and Niraj Kumar Basnet Danil, Head of Microfinance Department spoke about women-centric loans and other banking facilities under Nabil Sustainable Banking.
