Nepal exited the group stage

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 22 – Nepal has been eliminated from the group stage of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup-2022 qualifiers. In the second match played in Uzbekistan, Nepal was eliminated from the group stage after a goalless draw with Hong Kong on Tuesday.

Nepal had to win against Hong Kong to maintain the possibility of the Asian Cup. Even though Nepal lost to Hong Kong in the previous two games, it was not enough to take Nepal to the next level.

Nepal, which added one point in two games of selection, is at the bottom of Group F. Earlier, Nepal had lost 2-1 to the Philippines.

The top team of the group will play the Asian Cup in India next year.
