NEPSE rises 13 points amid sharp fluctuations
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 21 – The share market (NEPSE) index has risen by 13.83 points on Tuesday amid sharp fluctuations.
The NEPSE index, which had declined by 65 points in the first 15 minutes of trading, had risen by 40 points in the first hour (12 o’clock).
The market, which had declined again, closed 13 points higher at the end. Earlier, the stock market had declined by 114 points on Monday.
By the end of trading on Tuesday, the NEPSE index had risen 0.51 per cent to 2,712.07 points. The Sensitive Index also rose by 2.36 points to 508.62.
Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, the indices of four subgroups declined while the rest rose.
Similarly, 15.36 million shares of 223 companies were traded on the day, resulting in a turnover of Rs 7 billion 366.47 million 98 thousand 692 rupees.
The share price of Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution Limited has risen by about 10 per cent on this day.
