The budget presented in National Assembly, expenses will get legitimacy of Sept. 16
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 21 – Appropriation Bill (Budget) has been introduced in the National Assembly. The appropriation bill passed by the House of Representatives on Monday was introduced in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Amid UML’s obstruction, the National Assembly has approved the proposal to consider the Appropriation Bill.
Now, members of the National Assembly will be able to propose amendments to the Appropriation Bill within 72 hours. And after the amendment and discussion of the parliamentarians in the ministry, it will again reach the President through the House of Representatives and the House of Representatives for verification. Then the budget will be implemented.
The National Assembly Speaker has announced that the clause-by-clause discussion on the Appropriation Bill will be grouped and the clause-by-clause discussion will be held on Sept. 23 at 2 pm.
Expenses will get the legitimacy of Sept. 16
In the appropriation bill passed by the House of Representatives and passed in the National Assembly, it is mentioned that the bill will come into force on Sept. 16. The proposal to consider the bill with the same provision has also been approved by the National Assembly. If passed as it is by the National Assembly, the expenditure will get the legitimacy of 3Sept. 16.
As the budget was not passed by the parliament on time, the country is now in a state of zero budget. Amidst the interest in how the expenditure incurred during this period can get legal legitimacy, the bill has a demonic provision so that the expenditure can be legalized from Sept. 16.
The ordinance brought by the previous government has been inactive since Sept. 15. After the replacement bill was passed, the budget is being passed as if it has been implemented from Sept. 16.
