NEPSE drops by 114 points, turnover Rs 8.5 billion

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 20 – On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the share market NEPSE index has decreased by 114.02 points. NEPSE, which had risen by 5.76 points in the pre-open session, has declined by a huge number in the last session.

By the close of trading on Monday, the NEPSE index had fallen 4.05 per cent to 2,698.24 points.

The Sensitive Index also declined by 19.51 points to 506.27 points. Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, all subgroup indices declined.

Similarly, 1,73,30,538 shares of 225 companies were traded on the day, amounting to Rs 8,493.41 million.

The share price of Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution Limited has risen by about 10 per cent on this day.
