Murder of a man in East Chitwan, neighbour arrested

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 18 – One person has been killed in Rapti Municipality of East Chitwan. The deceased has been identified as Kancha Lama, 58, of Sital Tole in Municipality-9.

According to District Police Office, Chitwan Chief of Police, Superintendent of Police (SP) Om Adhikari, a neighbour Dasharath Thakuri has been arrested on the charge of being involved in Kancha’s murder. Police said that they had a meal together on Friday evening and Dasharath attacked him after a dispute.

The body of the deceased has been kept at Bharatpur Hospital while the incident is under investigation, police said.
