Today’s weather is likely to rain in these States

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 18 – Due to the general effect of the low-pressure area around Uttar Pradesh, India, it is raining with normal to full cloud cover in most parts of Nepal.

According to the Meteorological Department, as the monsoon low-pressure line is south of the average place, light to moderate rain is falling in most parts of Bagmati State and a few places in State 1 and 2.

Saturday

Afternoon: Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm/thunderstorm is expected in some places across the country.

Night: There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of State 1, 2, Bagmati and Gandaki and some other parts of the country.

Sunday

Afternoon: Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm/thunderstorm is expected in some places across the country.

Night: Light to moderate rain with thundershowers/thunderstorms is expected in a few places in Bagmati and Gandaki States and one or two places in other States.

Monday

Afternoon: Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm/thunderstorm is expected in some places across the country.

Night: Light to moderate showers with thunderstorms/thunderstorms are expected in a few places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali States and one or two places in other States.

The meteorological department has urged the people to be vigilant as there is a risk of soil erosion, landslides and drift in hilly areas due to the possibility of rains.
