Mountain museum a live example of mountain, mountain life

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 17 – Chief of Gandaki State Prithviman Gurung has said that International Mountain Museum is the live example of the mountain, and mountain life and culture.

In an onsite visit of the International Mountain Museum managed by the Nepal Mountaineering Association in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, the State Chief stressed running the museum by making it well managed.

Likewise, Gurung said that the museum should be developed as a popular tourism destination through publicity campaigns of the museum.

The museum was reopened for the visitors last week after its closure for more than four months due to the spread of coronavirus infection.

Currently, around 70 domestic and international persons visit the museum for study and inspection, Sarita Kandel, an official from the museum said.
