Council of Ministers to be expanded this week: Madhav
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 17 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to expand the cabinet within this week. For that, Prime Minister Deuba has already asked the ruling parties for the name of the minister. However, the parties have not been able to finalize the name of the minister.
Meanwhile, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, who has already decided to join the government, said that the cabinet would be completed within this week. UCPN (Maoist) has called a meeting of the next five Central Committees.
It is understood that the cabinet will be expanded only after the meeting. “We have formed a party,” Nepal said while inaugurating the party office at Aloknar in Baneshwor on Friday. Today or tomorrow we are ready to go to the government. The cabinet will be expanded within this week. ‘
In States 1 and 3, the Unified Socialist Party is claiming the post of Chief Minister. Chairman Nepal also said that the news of the return of the Chief Minister would come to those states any day. “The government will be completed in a few days. We will probably join the government with the Central Committee meeting on Sept. 21, ”Nepal said.
