Schools are not allowed to teach in physical presence

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 17 – The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has issued an order not to allow schools to teach in physical presence. Chief District Officer Govinda Prasad Rijal has issued such an order.

As mentioned in the order, if reading is to be done, the metropolitan and municipalities will have to analyze the situation of COVID-19 infection in their respective municipalities before the operation of the school. “School teachers, staff, drivers and co-drivers, canteen operators and steering committee officials must all be vaccinated against coronavirus,” the order said.

The administration has also urged to fully comply with health standards during the festivals as the coronavirus infection persists. It is requested to celebrate the festival only symbolically and not in large numbers. The administration has issued a prohibition order with effect from today.
