KATHMANDU: SEPT. 17 – Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has met the top leaders of the parties affiliated to the ruling coalition separately and suggested various five points.

Former Prime Minister Bhattarai met Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday and urged the government to complete the ordinance as soon as possible. He emphasized the need to build a national consensus and pass the US Assistance Project (MCC).

He also requested the top leaders to create an environment for passing the budget by holding discussions with the opposition. Bhattarai, who is also the chairman of the Federal Council of the JSP, suggested that all the major parties and top leaders of the alliance should be responsible for creating an environment that would lead the current alliance to the full term of parliament and elections.

He urged the coalition political parties and the government to work towards finding a solution by giving priority to social issues of public interest.
