Woman killed, three injured in car accident

BIRATNAGAR: SEPT. 16 – A woman has died in a car accident at Budhiganga in Morang district. Chandrakala Rai, 30, of Belbari Municipality-1 died in an accident at Budhiganga Village in Morang district.

She died at the Birat Teaching Hospital in Budhiganga while undergoing treatment for her injuries, said DSP Deepak Shrestha.

The car (Ba 11 Cha 1571) had met with an accident at Budhiganga-3 on the Koshi Highway.

The accident took place when a car coming from Belbari to Biratnagar collided with an electricity pole on the road, police said.

The injured have been identified as Baburam Karki, 38, of Belbari-1, Geeta Limbu, 43, of Belbari-1 and Sani Dhimal, 55.
