Features and prices of four models of iPhone-13

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 16 – On Tuesday night, Apple unveiled its new entry-level iPad, iPad mini, and Apple Watch series, along with its new product, the iPhone 13 series, at its California Streaming Virtual event. Apple claims to have made its new iPhone much better than the old model.

Some information about the new model of iPhone:

The four models of the iPhone 13 series unveiled by Apple are iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple has placed the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 in one category, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max in another category.

iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13

Both the phones have an aluminium design and the model’s products can be purchased in Red, Starlight, Midnight, Blue and Pink. Its display uses a ceramic shield and glass on the back of the bar. Both the smartphones will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB storage and can be purchased in these options, Apple has mentioned.

It has an A-15 Bionic chip as well as a six-core CPU and 4 core GPU. Apple has even given it a rating. Phones that are completely waterproof are rated. In other words, the company claims that these models will work for 30 minutes in 6 meters deep water.

Camera

Both the models of these phones have a 12-megapixel dual rear camera, the first one will support wide and the second one will support ultra-wide-angle, the company said. Apple has also mentioned that a 12-megapixel lens has been provided for selfies.

Video

Apple has given cinematic mode to these models of iPhone. It can record at 30 frames per second in Full HD. Apple has also said that HDR video recording and Forke Dolby Vision can also be recorded. It also has features like time-lapse, night mode, 8 MP photo during video recording, playback zoom.

Battery

Both iPhones come with a 15-watt MagSafe wireless charging and a 7.5-watt QI wireless charging lithium-ion battery. According to Apple, these phones can be charged up to 50 per cent in 30 minutes from a 20-watt adapter.

Price

The price of the iPhone 13 Mini 128 ‚256 and 512 GB variants will be around 1 lakh 12 thousand‚ 1 lakh 28 thousand, 1 lakh 60 thousand Nepali rupees respectively. Similarly, the 128, 156, 512 GB of iPhone 13 is priced at around Rs 128,000, Rs 144,000 and Rs 176,000 respectively.

iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max

The iPhone 13 Pro has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Both these models are made in a round shape design.

Both the iPhone 13 Max and Pro Max support display HDR, Wide Color (P3), True Tone and Haptic Touch. It has a fingerprint resistance oleophobic coating, the company said.

Both the phones will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage options. It has an A15 Bionic chip. It also has a six-core CPU and a four-core GPU. These iPhones are coming with an IP-68 rating. The company claims that this model phone can work for half an hour in 6 meters deep water.

Camera

The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have three rear cameras. The first of these cameras will support telephoto, the second wide and the third ultra wide-angle, the company said. Both models have a 12-megapixel triple rear camera. Similarly, the front camera has a 12-megapixel lens.

Video

Apple claims that both smartphones have a cinematic mode for videography and can record up to 30 frames per second in Full HD (1080p). Apple has also stated that HDR video recording, 4K Dolby Vision recording can also be done. The company has also mentioned that features like night mode/time-lapse, playback zoom are also available.

Battery

The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max come with a 15-watt MagSafe wireless charging and a 7.5-watt QI wireless charging lithium-ion battery, the company said. According to Apple, the 20-watt adapter will charge up to 50 per cent in 30 minutes.

Price

The price of 128 GB, 156 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of iPhone 13 Pro is around 1 lakh 92 thousand, 2 lakh 8 thousand, 2 lakh 40 thousand, 2 lakh 72 thousand Nepali rupees respectively while the price of iPhone 13 Pro-Max is 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 terabyte price is about 2 lakh 8 thousand, 2 lakh 24 thousand, 2 lakh 56 thousand, 2 lakh 88 thousand Nepali rupees respectively.
