Body of missing four-year-old child found after 8 days

PANCHTHAR, PHIDIM: SEPT. 15 – The body of a child who has been missing for eight days has been found in Henwakhola. According to the District Police Office, the body of the four-year-old daughter of Gajendra Yongya of Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 Salleri, who went missing after being swept away by the river while bathing in Henwakhola of Phidim Municipality-4, was found on Tuesday.

The police team had reached the spot after the locals reported that the body of the child was lying on the ground about 100 meters below the bridge. After finding the body, the legal process was completed and the body was sent to the district hospital for autopsy, said Information Officer at the District Police Office, Inspector Dambar Bishwokarma.
