KATHMANDU: SEPT. 15 – Manchester United, limited to 10 men in the first half, suffered a dramatic defeat as they could not cope with the last minute of extra time.

The final minute was decisive for United as they lost 2-1 to Swiss club Young Boys in their first Group F match of the UEFA Champions League. The team was reduced to 10 men in the 35th minute when United’s Wan Bissaka made a serious tackle on Christopher Martins. He was given a red card by the referee.

However, Ronaldo had already given the team the lead in the 13th minute. But the last few seconds could not be handled United became scoreless.

The home team looked aggressive in the second half and equalized in the 66th minute. The Young Boys won the game after Sibachu of the Young Boys scored in the last minute of injury time through a mistake by Jesse Lingard.

This is the second victory of the Young Boys in the history of the Champions League. Young boys have managed to add 3 points in this group. In the other match of the group, Villarreal and Atalanta drew 2-2. When everyone added points, only United became scoreless in the first game.
