UML MPs Pandey and Bhatta will be able to elect CPN-S

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 14 – CPN (UML) MPs Som Prasad Pandey and Shardadevi Bhatta will be able to form the CPN (Unified Socialist Party).

A bench of Supreme Court Justices Ishwor Khatiwada and Nahakul Subedi on Tuesday issued an interim order in the name of the UML and the opposition not to take any action affecting their right to join the party.

The Supreme Court has issued an interim order not to take any action against Pandey and Bhatta, members of the House of Representatives who left the UML and chose the Unified Socialist Party. They had filed a case at the Supreme Court after they could not get identification at Election Commission.
