Biplav in street struggle against MCC [Photos]

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 13 – Communist Party of Nepal General Secretary Biplav has taken to the streets against MCC. The rebel group, which has been calling MCC a traitor, has also staged street demonstrations.

Protesting against the MCC, the group has taken out rallies from Tripureshwor, Lainchaur and Babar Mahal in the federal capital Kathmandu.

The procession was led by General Secretary Biplav, spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakand’, standing committee member Hemant Prakash Wali ‘Sudarshan’ and other leaders. Demonstrations with slogans such as ‘Reject the treacherous MCC project’ and ‘Protect national sovereignty’ have now turned into a corner rally in Sundhara.

Secretary-General Biplav, spokesperson Prakanda and others are addressing the program which has turned into a corner meeting.
