Pathao Dashain Festival: Chance to win TVS bikes and iPhones

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 13 – Pathao Ride Sharing Service Nepal has announced the ‘Pathao Dashain Festival’ targeting both riders and service recipients on the occasion of the great festival of Nepalis, Dashain. Riders have a chance to win TVS bikes and service users have a chance to win an iPhone at the festival.

Asimman Singh Basnet, Regional Director of Pathao Nepal, informed that gifts will be given to five top riders, three top captains and one top foodman every week during the festival which will run from September 17 to October 6.

Each week during the 20-day festival, riders, foodmen and captains (taxi drivers) will be able to win the first gift mobile, second gift TV, third gift fridge, fourth gift vacuum cleaner and fifth gift mixer.

At the end of the festival, one lucky winner from the 3 week winners will also receive a TVS Apache RTR 160 2V as a bumper gift. Similarly, the best three send customers will get a chance to win an iPhone 12 Pro mobile.

The rider, captain and foodman must have made as many trips or deliveries as possible to win the prize. Similarly, riders and foodman must follow the ‘rule book’ of the sender. Riders or foodmen who do not follow the rule book may be ‘suspended’.

If the rider or foodman himself requests a ride or food, it will not be accepted. Similarly, you will not be able to make a ride or food request with your own friends, you will not be able to start and end the ride without a customer or you will not be able to end the ride without reaching the place where the request came from. Also, no rider will be able to travel offline.

In order to win a gift at this festival, Pathao service recipients must have used Bike Ride, Taxi Ride, Food or Pathao Bazar at least 20 times using the Pathao service within 20 days. In addition, the official name and date of birth should be mentioned in the app of the service recipient.

‘COVID has affected everyone. Our business did not stay away from it. Our daily work has affected our riders, captains and foodman friends even more. Pathao Nepal’s Marketing Head Surakshya Hamal adds, “The Dashain Festival has been made public by addressing the hard work and enthusiasm shown by them in making the daily life of the service recipients easier even during COVID’s time.”

Pathao bike ride sharing service started in Nepal in September 2018. Pathao Nepal has started car light (taxi) service from August 2019. In September 2020, Pathao started home delivery service of hotel and restaurant meals and food items.

Recently, Pathao Nepal has also started ‘Pathao Bazar’ by delivering groceries. Pathao Bazar, which started home delivery on June 12, is in the process of being tested within 45 minutes of ordering the goods.
