Century Bank’s new savings account at 5.5 percent interest

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 13 – Century Commercial Bank has launched a savings account called Century Remit Premium Account. The bank has introduced a new saving account keeping in mind the demands of its customers. The account with a minimum balance of Rs 1,000 will be paid quarterly interest at the rate of 5.50 per cent per annum.

The account offers a 1 per cent higher interest rate than other savings accounts, as well as free internet banking and mobile banking. The account has a locker service, ATM and other facilities.

Customers who wish to secure the remittance amount and get high interest rate can go to any branch office of Century Commercial Bank and open a new savings account. In order to open the account, the receipt received from any remittance must be made available to the bank.

The bank has 23 branches and 7 extension counters in the Kathmandu Valley and 103 branches and 3 extension counters outside the Kathmandu Valley as well as 18 branchless banks operating from a total of 154 locations.
