Dipendra Airee ruled out of Oman tri-series
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 12 – Vice-captain of the Nepali national team Dipendra Singh Airee, who suffered a knee injury during practice last year, is set to lose the triangular series under the World Cricket League-2.
He also missed the one-day practice match against Papua New Guinea. He had an MRI for Monday’s game. “An MRI scan of his injury showed he needed some rest”, Cricket Association of Nepal source said. Due to which he won’t be available for the triangular series between Oman and the United States.
After the report, he is sure to lose the series. Nepal is playing its first game against the United States on Monday.
Nepal recently played two-match ODI series against Papua New Guinea for the preparation of ICC World Cricket League 2 and won the series 2-0.
