Evidence found that Giri, the Vice Chancellor of BP, is not a professor
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 12 – Evidence has been found that Dr Gyanendra Giri, Vice-Chancellor of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, is not a professor.
The Ministry of Health and Population said in a statement on Sunday that it had not found any evidence that Giri was a professor.
“As no proof has been received that the vice-chancellor is a professor, the process has started as per the prevailing law,” the ministry said in a statement.
It is mentioned in the release that the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has taken all the documents to investigate the corruption in the establishment and is investigating.
Earlier, the struggle committee of the foundation had been protesting that Vice-Chancellor Giri was no longer a professor.
