Meeting of top leaders of the ruling coalition continues in Baluwatar
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 12 – Discussions of the top leaders of the ruling coalition have started at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar. According to the Secretariat of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the top leaders of the ruling party are sitting to discuss the expansion of the Council of Ministers and the upcoming strategy of the ruling party.
Even though it has been almost two months since the formation of the current government led by Prime Minister Deuba, the Council of Ministers has not been completed. Similarly, discussions will be held on how to move forward the parliament that the CPN-UML has been obstructing.
The discussion is attended by Prime Minister Deuba, CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and Rastriya Janamorcha Vice-Chairman Durga Poudel. The current Deuba-led cabinet has four ministers and one minister of state.
