KATHMANDU: SEPT. 12 – At present, there is normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and partial cloud cover in the Terai region.

According to the Meteorological Department, the low-pressure area in the eastern part of Rajasthan and the low-pressure area in the Middle East of the Bay of Bengal are having a general effect. Also, the monsoon low-pressure line is south of the average.

Night: There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places across the country.

The meteorological department has urged the people to be vigilant as there is a risk of erosion, landslides and drift in the hilly areas due to the possibility of rains.
