UML was chanting slogans and the Speaker was holding the meeting

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 10 – Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has convened a meeting of the House of Representatives amid slogans from the lawmakers of the main opposition CPN (UML).

Speaker Sapkota had initially adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes after UML lawmakers chanted slogans in the meeting held on Friday.

Speaker Sapkota chaired the meeting after UML lawmakers obstructed the meeting and chanted slogans. In the midst of the uproar, he gave time to Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party MP Prem Suwal to present a notice to reject the Financial Ordinance 2078. He then gave time to Finance Minister Janardan Sharma to present the ordinance.
