Meeting of the ruling coalition continues in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 10 – Meeting of the ruling coalition of the top leaders of the ruling coalition is being held in Baluwatar. The meeting is being held with different views from the ruling coalition parties about the US Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

It is understood that the meeting will discuss how to move forward by forming a consensus. A similar meeting will also discuss government expansion.

The meeting is attended by Congress president and prime minister Deuba, general secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka, CPN-Maoist centre president Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-S president Madhav Kumar Nepal, JSP president Upendra Yadav and Rastriya Janamorcha vice president Durga Poudel.

Government ministers are also participating in the meeting. Immediately after the meeting of the coalition, the Prime Minister has called a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
