Nissan to host ‘Green Mission Session’ in South Asia
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 10 – On the occasion of World Electric Vehicle Day, Nissan has organized a ‘Virtual Session’ to facilitate the availability of electric vehicles in the markets of Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka and to maintain sustainable environmental conditions in the future.
As sufficient hydropower is available in Nepal and Bhutan, there is a possibility of strong environmental and economic protection, and Nissan has stated that the program will be aimed at providing socio-economic benefits by providing suitable vehicles for the maximum population of the region.
In line with the Government of Nepal’s pioneering policy of reducing carbon emissions and maximizing the use of electric vehicles, Nissan has recently introduced a zero-pollution Leaf EV Nissan for Nepal. The price of the car has been provided at a special discount of Rs 59.99 lakh.
Nissan Leaf EV was also an electric vehicle produced in 2010. The Nissan Leaf EV has travelled a total of 2.5 billion kilometres, which has helped reduce carbon emissions by 1.2 million tonnes. This can be compared to the oxygen found in 90 million trees.
Sinan Ozkok, Chairman, Nissan India Operations, said: In that context, the zero-pollution Nissan Leaf is about to make inroads in the South Asian market. Governments in the region are also working to achieve the LKN Energy goal, which we have been supporting for the past 70 years by providing electric vehicles. ‘
The zero-pollution Nissan Leaf EV is Nissan’s original and high-quality vehicle. Its powerful capabilities help bring about positive change in the world of vehicles. It can run at 100 km per hour and has a top speed of 140 km per hour. Its operating cost is very low.
Raghunath Nair, Export Head, Nissan’s South Asia Business Unit, said, “The Nissan Leaf EV is very useful in providing mobility to the community and we are promoting it in the South Asian market in particular.” Governments around the world are aware of the environment and are active in how to make sustainable efforts against carbon emissions. Because of this, all the countries have the idea of being green. ‘
Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Sandeep Kumar Sharda has set a starting price of Rs 59.99 lakh and as we are currently receiving a very good response from the market, we have arranged a week-long test drive in our showrooms in Kathmandu from September 13 to give a direct experience to the customers of Nissan Leaf.
According to the company, the Nissan Leaf vehicle is easy to charge at the electric station and customers can take advantage of charging at different places. Charging on a dedicated wall in your own home takes a full charge in 15 to 18 hours, while a full charge can be made at a charging station in 40 to 60 minutes if you need to charge fast.
