KATHMANDU: SEPT. 10 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a cabinet meeting. The cabinet was convened immediately after the meeting of the top leaders of the ruling party.

Government Spokesperson and Law Minister Gyanendra Karki informed that necessary discussions will be held in the meeting called after 11 am. “Regular work of the government is also on the agenda in today’s meeting. This is a regular meeting, “he said.” There is nothing else.

Ahead of the cabinet meeting, a meeting of top leaders of the ruling coalition parties Congress, Maoist Center, CPN (Unified Socialist), JSP and Rastriya Janamorcha is being held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 9 am. The meeting is expected to discuss how to move forward with a common vision for the US Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
