Meeting of the House of Representatives today, such is the possible agenda

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 10 – The second meeting of the ninth session of the House of Representatives is being held today. The meeting will be held at the Parliament House in New Baneshwor at 1 pm.

The meeting has a possible agenda to approve the Oath Ordinance 2078, Social Security Ordinance, Acid and Other Hazardous Chemicals (Regulation) Ordinance, National Debt Raising Ordinance, Appropriation Ordinance and others.

The government is preparing to introduce a bill in the House of Representatives to replace the budget ordinance. The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General has stopped the implementation of budget other than salary allowance after it was confirmed that the replacement bill would come.

The main opposition CPN-UML had chanted slogans in all the three meetings held on Sept. 8 on the first day of the convention. Despite this, the government, which presented the ordinance on political parties in the third meeting, is preparing to table a replacement bill even today.
