Nepali is to play a second one-day international match against PNG today
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 10 – The Nepali national cricket team in Oman is playing its second one-day international match against Papua New Guinea (PNG) today. The second match of the two-match series will be played at 4:15 pm today.
The day-night game will be played at the Al Emirate Cricket Ground in Oman. This will be the first day-night one-day international for Nepal. Earlier, Nepal had not played a day-night game.
Nepal won the first match. Rohit Kumar Poudel and Sompal Kami had excellent performances in winning by two wickets.
Nepal is playing against PNG before the triangular one-day series with Oman and the USA under ICC World Cup Cricket League-2. In the triangular one-day series under League-2, Nepal will play its first match against the United States on September 13.
Nepal will play its second match against Oman on September 14. The third match will be against the United States on October 26 and the last match will be against Oman on September 18.
