Oli told the MCC official that the ruling party should be clear first
KATHMANDU: SEPT. 9 – CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that he will not immediately form an opinion on the US grant agreement MCC. In a meeting with MCC President Fatima Sumar and other MCC delegations, Oli said that they would form an opinion on MCC only after the ruling parties form a clear position. Rajan Bhattarai informed.
Bhattarai said, “The chairman should clear the position of those in the government first. We should not make the position in a hurry. The ruling party’s position should be cleared.” During the meeting, Oli said that the ruling parties and the government have not consulted with the UML so far.
The MCC team, which arrived in Kathmandu today, has started political talks. The team had reached Oli’s residence in Balkot to meet him. The delegation is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today.
