Teej’s enthusiasm during the COVID-19 period [Photos]

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 9 – Today, Haritalika Teej is being celebrated with joy. Hindu Nepali women worship Mahadev and celebrated Teej.

Today, there is a religious belief that worshiping Shiva and Parvati while fasting will bring happiness, peace and welfare to the family.

Today, women are found in nearby Shiva temples. They worship and fast there. Women have a tradition of dancing and singing, exchanging happiness and enthusiasm.

However, this time it looked like fewer celebrations than ever. Due to the existing coronavirus risk, fewer women were found around the temple than in previous years.
