‘BP’s hypothesis has not yet materialized’

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 9 – Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Shashank Koirala has said that the roadmap envisioned by the leading leader of Nepal’s democratic movement Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala has not materialized yet.

Giving a message on the occasion of the 108th birth anniversary of BP Koirala today, he said that the failure of the original political roadmap of nationalism, democracy and socialism envisioned by late Koirala to be meaningful should be the subject of serious review.

While remembering Koirala at a crucial time in the process of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, General Secretary Dr Koirala said that tributes would be paid to him only if he could build a ‘happy and prosperous Nepal’ by leading the party on the path of more unity, trust and democratic practice.
