Demonstrations against MCC at various places in Kathmandu [Photos]

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 8 – Demonstrations have taken place in various places in Kathmandu today against the MCC agreement that is said to be issued by the government from the parliament.

Parties including Deshbhakta Janaganatantrik Morcha, CPN-United, CPN-Ekata Kendra, Nepali for Nepal and others marched from Maitighar to New Baneshwor.

Communist leaders CP Gajurel and CP Mainali were also present at the protest.

Similarly, the ‘National Campaign Against MCC’ has taken out a protest rally from Nepal Commerce Campus today. Despite the program that went from the campus to go before the territory, the performance of 5 protesters of the campaign from the police have been dispersed.

The detained protesters have been kept at the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor.
