Making assumptions about MCC right now is like playing wrestling: KP Sharma Oli

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 8 – CPN-UML Chairperson and Parliamentary Party Leader KP Sharma Oli has said that UML should not talk about MCC right now. Addressing a meeting of the parliamentary parties, Oli said that it was time to make public the party’s stand on MCC.

Oli said the government had not officially told the UML about it and had not submitted it to parliament. “Making assumptions about MCC right now is like playing air wrestling, it’s not necessary right now,” he said.

During the meeting, UML lawmakers said that the party’s stance on MCC should be clear.
