Discussion continues in Parliament on the role of UML MPs

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 8 – The meeting of the parliamentary party of CPN-UML is underway. Leader Subaschandra Nemwang informed that the role of UML MPs is being discussed in the ongoing meeting at Lhotse Hall of the Parliament House starting at 4 pm on Wednesday.

“Especially in the meeting starting at 4 pm today, the main opposition MPs are discussing what kind of role they will play,” Nemwang said.

Vice President Bhim Bahadur Rawal had said that the MCC should be passed with amendments. Known as a staunch critic of the MCC, Rawal had been saying that the MCC should not be passed till now. “The MCC has a unilateral agreement,” Rawal said.
