Unified socialist is to participate in the parliament meeting for the first time

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 8 – A meeting of the parliamentary party of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is to be held. The meeting will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday at Shankar Hall of the Parliament House in New Baneshwor.

Leader Jeevan Ram Shrestha informed that a meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday to formulate a strategy. The UML is participating in the parliament for the first time after the split.

Meanwhile, Madhav Kumar Nepal has been elected as the leader of the Unified Socialist Parliamentary Party. The UML has emerged as the fourth largest party in the divided unified socialist parliament. The party has 23 MPs in the House of Representatives and eight in the National Assembly.
