Unilever to pay 650 percent dividend

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 7 – Unilever Nepal Limited is going to distribute dividends at the rate of 650 per cent to its shareholders.

It has announced to pay a dividend from the profit of the last fiscal year 2077/78. The company’s board of directors meeting held on Monday passed the dividend.

As per the decision, the shareholders who own one share of Unilever Nepal will receive a cash dividend of Rs 650.

The next general meeting will have to pass the dividend.

The company has decided to close the book in October 11 for the distribution of dividends. The existing shareholders will receive the dividend till October 10.

The company has stated that the dividend has been distributed within 45 days of the general meeting.
